Swoppet C15th Knight Charging with Lance – Pavilion Window Box

BRITAINS HERALD ‘Wars of the Roses’ 15th Century ‘Swoppet’ Knights – No.1451 Mounted Knight Charging with Lance, wearing trailing green ‘Viper’s Tongue’ favour on brown Horse with white reins, white Bear & Staff crest and Royal Blue horse blanket. Knight is complete with red lance, sword, visor, green belt, dagger, metal scabbard, red horse saddle, yellow shield with white Rose boss – in Very Good lightly used condition with some storage wear, in a Poor (some age wear, original price ‘4/6’ in pencil, original ‘Big B’ sticker added to lid, splits/tears, scuffs, creases, invisible repairs, acetate window replaced), original 2nd issue ‘Herald Models’ yellow (with red trim) pavilion style window box, complete with correct description label – dates to circa 1962/63 – [Provenance: from the ‘Bristol’ Collection]
