Britains for James Galt “Early Stages” Flower Garden (No. N778), with original box, leaflet and complaints slip – comprising a quantity of items from Britains Floral Garden range, comprising: Hyacinths, Tulips & Daffodils, Lupins & Delphiniums, Crocus & Snowdrops, Rose Bushes, Standard Roses, Sunflowers & Hollyhocks, Brick Edging for Flower Beds, Flower Beds, Planting Tools, Crazy Paving, Garden Fences (with supports) and Lawn (2 sizes) – James Galt & Co. Ltd. sold quality toys for the younger child and Britains are known to have supplied Galt Toys with their Farm and Zoo models. This, however, is the first time that we have come across a Floral Garden set produced for Galt – Contents are in good to excellent used condition, with some flower blooms still attached to sprues – the plain strong card lift-off lid box is in very good condition, with some age wear, tape residue, graffiti to inside lid – a rare and unusual item for the Floral Garden collector.
