SOLD Cherilea British Paratroops Display Box – RARE Find

Rare very early (circa 1959) display box set of Cherilea 60mm British WW2 Paratroopers – cat. no. 1062 [note: 1032 crossed out] – comprising 12 Paratroops and 10 Battlefield Accessories – all beautifully hand-painted – contents are generally Excellent to near Mint (inevitable paint flaking – common with early Cherilea figures) and still glued to the card insert – coloured pictorial card insert (front folds down for display) is Very Good (some age wear, creases) – lift-off lid style early type box is Good Plus, with some age wear, graffiti to one box end, stains and scuffs (measures approx 38 x 17.5 x 8 cm) – extremely rare set, only the third example of this early box type we have seen [Please note: will post Worldwide or deliver to the Plastic Warrior Show on 11 May, by prior arrangement]
