SOLD Cherilea Cavalry & Indians Display Box – Great Find!

Very rare early display box set of Cherilea 60mm US 5th Cavalry and Indians – cat. no. 4002 – comprising 12 Cavalry and Indians (3 mounted), Buckboard, Indian Canoe and Wigwam – all beautifully hand-painted – contents, loose in box, are generally Very Good to Excellent (inevitable paint flaking which is common with early Cherilea figures and prone cavalryman missing rifle) – coloured pictorial card insert (front folds down for display) is Good (creased, small tears) – lift-off lid style early box is also Good, with some age wear and tears – repaired (measures approx 38 x 30 x 8 cm) – this set dates from circa 1959 – extremely rare, we have never seen this particular set before [Please note: will post Worldwide or deliver by hand to the next Sandown Park Toyfair, Esher, by prior arrangement – sorry this item now out of stock].
