Britains Ltd – Herald Historical Series – Civil War Period 1641-1649 – A Roundhead Officer, mounted [H402], with original maroon box, in Very Good Plus unused condition (with slight paint flaking) – early SMOOTH White plastic horse – IMPORTANT NOTE: horse’s tail has been NIBBLED probably by a Mouse or similar rodent! – Box is Poor, with storage wear, scuffing, creases, stains, foxing, torn (probably by the same mouse – see photo 2) – Poor dove grey card insert, age wear, slight foxing and tears [Note: standard paint scheme (A) in Herald Civilian Models The Golden Years by Barney Brown and Peter Cole: Figure moulded in dull silver plastic and painted with RED sash, TURQUOISE BLUE right sleeve and BLACK saddle] – Sought after figure…with something of a box [Provenance: from the ROGER SAUNDERS archive collection]
