Herald Models, circa 1958, Ayrshire breed cattle, all with hand-painted brown markings, comprising: Brown and White Cow, feeding [cat. no. H1536], Heifer Calf walking [H1551] and Calf lying [cat. no. H1553] – also issued as part of a 3-piece display carton H5536 – These matching models were almost certainly from the same display carton and are moulded in later TEXTURED white plastic (polythene) and all marked with the Herald trumpeter trademark. They are not brittle and have a lovely flexibility (like PVC) to the plastic, which is uncommon.
