Rare Herald Miniatures Farm Box Set H7551, comprising Farmer (with early darker shade light blue breeches and black painted waistcoat fastening), Shire Mare (early grey painted mouth), 2 Colts, Cow and 2 Calves (7 pieces) – Models strung (original elasticated thread) into box are generally Excellent to Near Mint (minor paint flaking). Original lift-off lid style early box, with iconic illustrated label (designed by Kay Fido), is Good, with usual scuffs, small tears to edges and corners (one corner of lid split), Printed card insert is VG with only minor marks. Good bright example of this set.
