SOLD Herald Farm Series Early Box Set (Cows, Calves)

Herald Farm Set H7555, comprising 2 Cows, 2 Calves, Pig, 2 Geese, 2 Ducks, and Hen and chicks (10 pieces). Original models strung into box are generally excellent to mint (very minor paint flaking). Original lift off lid style early type box with illustrated label (designed by Kay Fido) is very good with some age wear. Printed card insert is Excellent with some age wear, creasing (price label ‘7/11’ applied alongside description label plus dedication ‘To John’ in pencil to reverse. Very Rare set to find in this condition – only the second complete example we have handled since July 2014 [Provenance: from the ‘Billericay’ Collection].
