Herald Zoo Series, 1-dozen #1356 WATER BUFFALO trade box, now containing 6 (of 12) models near Mint to Mint unused (slight paint flaking to horns) – contained in a HERALD SERIES magenta/charcoal/white trade box – still has the original packing tissue – carton is Poor, age wear, scuffs, tears, one corner repaired with sellotape – correct printed ‘Herald Zoo Series’ description label with original price ‘1/3’ in green biro – dating to circa 1962 or ’63 this is a hard to find trade box for the Britains zoo models collector [Provenance: from the ROGER SAUNDERS Archive Collection]
