SOLD Lone Star Australian Troops – Unusual RED Slouch Hat

Lone Star Products – Made in England – ‘Harvey Series Unbreakables’ Plastic 54mm figures, comprising: 3 x Australian/Desert Troops [ref. L.266] wearing unusual RED ‘factory’ painted jungle slouch hats and a mixture of shorts and trousers, as featured on page 12 of the current issue of Plastic Warrior magazine – one theory put forward is that the hats were painted red to represent Redcaps from the Royal Military Police who were involved in the Burma campaign during World War II – these rare figures are in a/f to fair used condition, with some paint loss and damage to weapons noted [3 pieces].
