Speedwell Farmyard models, comprising RARE Colt, Standing Calf and Lying Calf (all moulded in WHITE plastic and only recently identified as Speedwell – not Herald, Timpo or Gemodels) – overall in unused near MINT condition – old shop stock [Provenance: from a substantial quantity of old Speedwell shop stock obtained from the house clearance of a deceased toy shop owner in the Midlands – many models were still wrapped in their original packing tissue and contained in two plain card trade boxes, supplied to the shop retailer directly by Speedwell!] – from the late ‘Ray Ellwood’ collection.
