Swoppet C15th Knight Attacking with Sword – Pavilion Window Box

BRITAINS HERALD ‘Wars of the Roses’ 15th Century ‘Swoppet’ Knights – No.1452 Knight Attacking with Sword, wearing trailing green favour on black Horse with white reins, red panache of feathers crest and red 8-strap ‘fleur-de-lis’ pattern caparison. Knight is complete with sword, visor, purple belt, dagger, metal scabbard, red horse saddle, orange shield with red Rose boss – in near Mint lightly used condition with only minor storage wear, in a Fair (some age wear, small splits/tears, scuffs, invisible repairs, acetate window replaced), original 2nd issue ‘Herald Models’ yellow (with red trim) pavilion style window box, complete with correct description label – dates to circa 1962/63 – nice example [Provenance: from the ‘Bristol’ Collection]
