Believed Hilco – plastic Polar Bear, walking and Giant Panda, sitting – both moulded in white plastic, the Panda with gloss black markings, whilst the Polar Bear has matt black eyes and mouth (with traces of black paint on paws) – whilst unmarked, typical of Hilco’s copies of Britains farm and zoo models, which are slightly undersized (the Britains Polar Bears were moulded in ivory or cream plastic and this copy is of good quality polythene) – in Fair (Panda) to Good (Polar Bear) used condition with some paint loss and wear – [Provenance: from a large collection of Hilco and Cherilea plastic zoo animals [2 pieces]
