SOLD Britains SMOOTH Plastic Friesian Cow Feeding & Calf

Britains ‘Unbreakable’ Plastic Farm Series – No. 821 Cow feeding (Friesian breed markings) and No. 812 Calf lying (black Friesian markings) – models are moulded in early SMOOTH, waxy plastic (polythene) i.e. before texturing was added to the moulds – these are pre-Britains/Herald merger models dating to 1957 or 1958 (originating from Britains lead moulds) – it is unusual to find a matching pair of smooth plastic cow and calf, originating from the same collection.
