Herald Farm Models Box Set – Farm Land Girl with Pigs and Calves – Catalogue no. H7557 – This early window box set dates to 1960 (or 1961), shortly after the 1959 merger with Britains – Contains 11 pieces, all marked with the Herald logo on underside, in generally excellent to near mint condition overall – Figures are strung onto a light blue card insert (a little grubby), complete with the original complaints slip – The outer box is fair (age wear, scuffing, creases, splits, grubby) with the original cellophane window and price 7/11 written faintly in pencil on the description label – This is a rare set in any condition, one for the Herald farm collector (note: this is the sister set to 7552 which we sold recently) – [Provenance: from the PETER COLE archive collection].
