Gama (Spain) Roman 2-Horse Chariot & Messala

Gama (Barcelona, Spain) very rare and early, circa 1956-58 2-horse Roman Chariot or Biga, plastic, with metal axles ~ chariot beautifully hand-painted, with gold detail to dark green plastic chariot and separate wheels. White and Brown plastic horses have brightly painted blankets ~ from the film ‘Ben Hur’ with the Messala moulded in two parts that swivel, wearing a red hand-painted toga ~ superb unusual plastic piece from the Ruislip Collection of medieval figures.
