SOLD Herald Farm Display Carton – Cow Standing

Rare Herald Farm Display Carton H5535, containing Cow standing and 2 Calves (brown Ayrshire breed markings) – Note: inclusion of Britains ‘lead mould’ standing cow, the Herald version having been deleted at the end of 1958. Models are very near Mint. Outer carton marked “A Britains Ltd. Product” and “Made in England” – Red ‘Windmill’ Carton and inner plinth are Very Good, bright colours (plinth background faded), slight creasing. Price 29/- in pencil to underside [Belgian Francs] – from a small collection of old shop stock recently found in Belgium. Dates to circa 1961.
