SOLD Herald Farm Display Carton – Landgirl & Goats

Rare Herald Farm Display Carton 5541, containing Landgirl and 2 Goats (tan with white markings) – Models are Excellent. Outer carton marked “A Britains Ltd. Product” and “Made in England” – Red ‘Windmill’ Carton and inner plinth are Very Good, bright colours (plinth background faded, some ‘foxing’ from storage), very slight creasing. Price 29/- in pencil to underside [Belgian Francs] – from a collection of old shop stock recently discovered in Belgium, obtained from the original owner’s grandson; the shop was open between 1956 and 1986. This rare piece dates to circa 1959-1961. Herald at their finest!
