SOLD Herald Farm Display Carton – Shepherd

Very rare Herald Farm Display Carton 5540, containing Shepherd and 2 Sheep. Models are near Mint. Red ‘Windmill’ Carton and inner plinth are Excellent (creases, pictorial background slight foxing, price 29/- Belgian Francs in pencil. From some old shop stock recently discovered in Belgium from a shop open 1956-1986. Only issued from 1959 for a few years, this example dates to circa 1962. We have never seen this particular farm display carton in red before – Herald at their finest!
