Exceptionally rare pre-Britains plain white card ‘Herald Miniatures Ltd’ 2-dozen trade box of No. H1619 Kid (Tan & White), now containing 3 from 24 – hand-painted with white markings – all marked with Herald logo – printed end label with the catalogue no. H1619 which dates this trade box precisely to 1958, the year in which the goats were first issued (from 1959 the tan & white kids were amalgamated as H2234 Kid, Assorted Colours) – models offered for sale in excellent to near mint condition – carton is good, crisp, with original packing tissue – original price “4½d” marked lightly in pencil – very rare and early trade box – [Provenance: from the PETER COLE Archive Collection].
