Britains (Herald) “Swoppet” Indians – Wild West series – 1 Dozen Trade Box of No. 553 Chief with Dagger [now containing 10 from 12] – Generally near mint old shop stock (one figure has broken peg for head) – Note: this trade box is an interesting ‘factory error’ since a homeworker has assembled the incorrect torso (Brave with tomahawk), and the retailer has written “wrong bodies” and crossed through the description label in pencil – such errors are fairly rare as Britains quality control was generally very thorough – [Provenance: from the PETER COLE Archive Collection].
