Timpo H. R. Products (Harry Reynolds), Fulham, London, England, exceptionally rare farm Pig, moulded in pink plastic and marked ‘H R England’ to underbelly (in typewriter typeface, typical of Timpo which is not surprising since Timpo’s chief designer, Norman Tooth, is known to have been employed to carry out design work for Reynolds, including Michael Bentine’s ‘Bumblies’ in metal) – model also has hand-painted black pinprick eyes and red mouth – dating to the 1950’s this is only the second farm model in plastic by H R Products we have seen (garage mechanics, cowboys, policemen, frogman and vikings from Reynolds lead moulds are known to exist in plastic) – left front leg carefully repaired, otherwise Good condition for age (a little grubby, would benefit from a gentle clean if required) – Provenance: from the late ‘Ray Ellwood’ collection.
