Herald Highlanders & Guards Display Box – Very RARE Set

Herald Models – H7106A Military Display Box – a beautiful set packaged in a plain card rectangular box measuring 12″ x 10″ containing one each of all Highlanders and Guards, dismounted. Fitted with a strong transparent dust-proof cover (replacement). Display insert with Herald Models black/yellow/red emblem and each model has its catalogue number clearly printed below it, together with ‘SA 7106’ (Sales Aid) – The 1957 Herald catalogue states “…ideal for window display as an aid to the sale of loose figures as well as an attractive box to retail”. This set was only issued for 1957 and 1958 so is extremely rare – Contents Very Good to Excellent, card display insert is Good (some age wear, description label is torn/brittle, dust-proof cover is an acetate replacement)  – wonderful pre-Britains set for the Herald military collector [Provenance: from the late ‘Ray Ellwood’ Collection]
